Research of Studio Ghibli (week 2)

I have started off from researching Studio Ghibli's general information.

Studio Ghibli is a Japanese animation studio that they mainly concentrate on the film-length animation (more than an hour long animation). Studio was founded in June 1985 by the directors Hayao Miyazaki, Isao Takahata and the producer Toshio Suzuki.

Studio Ghibli's Animations are all their originals, in the other word, they only produce their own work. This process are actually rare in the Japanese animation industry since a lot of the other Japanese animation industry produces animation for the Television series, then after a while when they became popular some of the animation has become into the film, often the films are the special version of the Television series. This happens a lot in the Japanese animation, the film is often been produced at the most once a year for each animation.
A good example would be the Japanese animation company called OLM, inc (Oriental Light & Magic). Their one of the most famous animation, Pokemon (Pocket Monster) which is the Television animation series that has been showing since 1997. They created the film animation every summer, they have created the total of 16 films including the new films that are scheduled to show in Japan this summer (2013).
